Smart Home

Live in the house of the future. Advanced Smart Home technologies ensure maximum comfort and security every day.

A smart home is a fully automated home that helps you and your loved ones live in your home comfortably and safely so you can spend time with your family and doing what you love.
A set of automation systems using modern electronic building technology and IT provide all the information, make decisions and perform actions for your safety and comfort.
Lighting, cooling and heating, ventilation, security and monitoring system, entertainment systems, all work as a single system to make your stay pleasant, comfortable and safe.
All you need to do when you return home is put on your best smile to press a button with your mode of choice and the smart home takes care of the rest for you.

Function

A network of smart components
(wired and/or wireless) is everywhere in every room of the house, in every switch, in every electrical panel.

This network is complemented by a network of sensors that provide useful information. All the components and sensors exchange information with each other and perform actions based on the predetermined programming they have received.

The smart home in practice is different technologies integrated to work as one system and the user can control everything from a single interface from common switches screens or application on a tablet or mobile phone.

Three main networks are created in a smart home, wireless or wired or a combination of the two and these are:
The high current control network where it controls the lighting, cooling and heating, blinds, etc.
The security network – a network of sensors, cameras, sirens and other components that take care of the security and control of the installation.
The computer network wireless or wired where it is the highest level of control and manipulation and takes care of integrating the users’ phones and smart devices with the smart home.
So in a smart home the term “integration” means that the three networks above speak the same language with each other and for the user in handling and actions they are as one.

How is it done?

We create an environment that has the ability to use technology to meet the personal needs and desires of users. To achieve the best result and create an integrated living experience, we follow a multi-step process
Using a detailed questionnaire, we learn about the needs and lifestyles of stakeholders e.g. parents, children, grandparents, household staff etc.
We then design the best automation system together with the engineer, architect or contractor of the project, tailored to their daily needs. We sample a simulated handling and experience so that there is a full understanding of the details.
We select the right products and materials for automation from a range of more than 6500 products from 450 manufacturers with a good price/performance ratio.
We prepare a detailed application study if this does not exist from an electrical/electrical engineer in the project.
We oversee and manage the schedule of the automation work, working closely with the project contractor from the installation of the cables to the final installation of the products.
We then interface all the individual systems with each other and with the central control system, and then program the systems to meet your unique needs and lifestyle.
When the project is completed, we train each family member or stakeholder individually to understand the features of the systems they will use.
Once everyone has adapted to the way the systems work we remain at your disposal to modify the system to meet future needs.

Subsystems of the smart home

We create an environment that has the ability to use technology to meet the personal needs and desires of users. To achieve the best result and create an integrated living experience, we follow a multi-step process
Lighting – Electrical appliances: One of the most basic subsystems in a smart home is the control of electrical appliances and lighting, in practice it is a modern electrical installation – an extension of the technique of electrical installations that for the user means comfort by using scenarios but also safety for the electrical installation.By using scenarios, electrical appliances can be switched off by pressing a button locally from a button called sleep and at the same time lights can be switched off and night lights can be switched on. With the same ease, the user can control the entire electrical installation remotely via his mobile phone and tablet using a special application. He can select the brightness levels on the living room lights to watch TV at the touch of a button from the comfort of his sofa; choose the appropriate lighting scenario for an event e.g. a celebration or party. Lighting can as a subsystem participate in more complex user use scenarios in cooperation with other subsystems e.g. alarm, where in alarm mode all lights can be switched on to deter intruders or switched on at unspecified times offering a simulated presence situation.

Electric blinds – Shading : The blinds and shades in a house are automatically adjusted either at the touch of a button or in conditions such as rain or the arming of the security system. Electric blinds participate in presence simulation scenarios by opening at indeterminate times making the house look 100% habitable.

Heating/Cooling – Ventilation : The smart home creates for the occupant ideal living conditions in winter and summer, taking into account a number of parameters such as outdoor temperature, indoor temperature and indoor and outdoor humidity, automatically adjusts the cooling or heating to the user-defined level or by learning from the user how he/she wants to live.

Security : The most important and most nerve-wracking subsystem is security. In the smart home, security is not just an alarm but an intelligent system that learns from the way the user lives and configures the right security conditions so that all members are protected.

Energy Management : A smart home is a green home that helps reduce the energy footprint on the planet as well as saving the user money.

Entertainment : In a smart home all entertainment systems are under our total control, whether it’s sonos audio systems or complex audio-visual systems everything is easily and simply controlled at the touch of a button and at the same time participate in the complex scenarios of the user’s choice.

Visualization and Control : All subsystems work as one and the user experience is enjoyable and easy thanks to IoT and applications on SmartPhones and Tablets. Locally or remotely with comfort and security the setting for all subsystems is done by the user with the touch of a button on his mobile phone or personal tablet. More about the control technique

Voice commands: With Amazon’s Alexa and Google Home, all the subsystems of the smart home are controlled by voice commands, of course, as if someone were having a simple dialogue. This offers comfort to the user and safety to vulnerable groups.
